Behind the Mask is a hard hitting documentary. It takes the viewer onto the street and into the lives of women caught
in a system they can’t control. Through an array of candid interviews we are given a glimpse into a world that surrounds us, a world we would rather not look into. Behind the Mask seeks to uncover this world; to clear up the fairytale view of sex-for-sale and expose it for what it really is. With opinions from both sides of the moral scale, this documentary questions whether this is something that should remain a crime in South Africa or whether it should be made legal?
