Biblical Worldview Manual

The Biblical Worldview Seminar is a Christian leadership training course designed to equip believers to apply Biblical principles to every area of life.

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..."    Romans 12:2

Most Christians tend to see the world in "bits and pieces " instead of the whole picture. Too many churchgoers feel like Christians but think like humanists. All too many seem to have Christian hearts but humanist minds.

"See to it that no one takes yon captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ." Collossians 2:8

Without realising it, many sincere Christians have accepted unbiblical concepts and a humanist worldview. If we read the newspaper more than the Bible, if we read secular books and magazines more than Christian publications, if we watch TV more than we worship Christ, then it is inevitable that our minds will be shaped and filled by the world.

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: all who follow His precepts have good understanding."    Psalm 111:10

The Biblical Worldview Seminar challenges Christians to develop a consistent Biblical worldview and to get involved in positive action to change our world for the better.

In this world of constant crisis and change, Christians must be able to explain how God's Word speaks to the issues of today. We must know what we believe and why we believe.

And we must be able to explain these Biblical principles and clearly communicate them to others.

". . . Contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints." Jude 3

Participants of previous Biblical Worldview Seminars have written the following responses: "Refreshing"; "A necessity for every Christian "; "All the lectures made me rethink everything "; "Fantastic and professional"; "Excellent"; "Very professionally presented with very accurate application of Scripture"; "Well organised, the lectures were well prepared, competent and Christ-centred"; "Very uplifting and rewarding"; "I found every lecture most interesting and helpful"; "Excellent source of vital information, balanced approach"; "This course is the most informative that I have ever been on "; "It was life-changing"; "The depth of teaching and the emphasis on action impressed me"; "The best course I have ever attended".

Since 1991, Frontline Fellowship has conducted over 80 Biblical Worldview Seminars, God and Government Seminars, Reformation Seminars and Summits in Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Romania, Sudan, South Africa, the United States of America, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The enthusiastic responses of those who have participated in these life-changing courses encouraged us to produce this Biblical Worldview Manual. Audio CD's are available for the lectures. 1 also completed South Africa - Renaissance or Reformation? and Biblical Principles for Africa which includes even more BWS material.

The Biblical Worldview Manual will seek to present God's vision: for our personal lives; our churches; for our nation; and our world. The BWS will seek to face the great moral challenges of our day:
—    the symptoms such as: pornography, homosexuality, AIDS, deception in the news media,
        degenerate entertainment, dishonesty in business, decadence in government, crime and abortion;
—    and the underlying root causes: lack of love for God, neglect of the Bible, ineffective churches,
insipid preaching, irresponsible leaders, rejection of God's Law as the foundation for our
families, churches and nation, prayerlessness, selfishness, confusion, compromise and cowardice.

The BWS is designed to promote: renewed vision, revitalised leadership and a restored nation; through: returning to God in repentance, rediscovering the Biblical agenda, rebuilding the Biblical walls of our society, resisting the demands for national suicide, and resolutely working for reformation and praying for revival.

Yours for Reformation and Revival
